PVTC WARM-UP
NOVEMBER 2008
Pleasant Valley Tennis and Fitness will be closed Thanksgiving Day. Remember to take time to be thankful!
HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS DO PV PROUD A number of our junior players had a very successful high school season. Annie Lesko from University School, Ellie Faustich, Erin Jones, and Kelsey Jeletz from Cedarburg, Kristen Kurer from Port Washington all advanced to State. Annie and partner placed 4th in Divison II at State both individually and as a team. Congratulations to these and all the girls who played HS tennis.
INTERCLUB UPDATE We currently have five Interclub teams playing on Fridays. Barb Yagodinski's 3.0 team is currently in first place. Keep up the good work everyone!
PUT DOWN THAT REMOTE! All Juniors and Adults are invited to play weekend matches to get you off the couch and on the court. No more excuses that it's too much work to set up a match! Jenni will be scheduling both singles and doubles matches. Junior level of play will be advanced beginner to elite HS varsity. Adults rated 2.50 to 5.0 are welcome. Matches will mainly be played on Sundays, but there will be some Friday and Saturday time slots as well. Sign up forms are available at the front desk. Matches will start immediately, so don't wait!
BOO! The annual Junior Halloween Mixer was a huge success with fifty ghouls and goblins haunting our courts. The Adult Mixer had 70 participants, the great majority dressed for the occasion. A good time was had by all! Spooktacular!
PLEASE NOTE
A new lesson cancellation policy will begin November 8th. Any lessons cancelled within 24 hours will be charged at half price. Lessons cancelled inside of two hours will be charged full price.
